just finished inking this piece for an upcoming show at Floating World. ill probably do digital color version, inkwash the orginal and then print out a copy of the lines on watercolor paper to actually paint on. anyway ill have more details soon on the show but its themed around yakuza-eiga and it’s going to be sick. so yea here’s some process shots!

tools: sumi ink, specially customized acrylic brush (i just hacked away at some poor brush), some watercolor liner brush, a squirrel hair brush, blue pencil, a regular pencil, a grey kneaded rubber eraser (so fancy i know)

Gah! It’s so good.
