apparently I couldnt find anything more useful to do at 4 AM so I made this great visual representation of the journey of making a comic, from an idea to its realization (at least, what I’ve observed so far of the process)

the worst is when i have 6 books and the very first one got published so the horrible art i made when i was 20 was actually distributed in public. forever. protip: never rush on the character development even when the plot is complete. i didn’t know how nice it was to actually doodle OC things instead of making shallow characters for the sake of having eye candy. fancy uniforms don’t do shit when your OCs have the personality of an amoeba.

so that’s why the characters went from badass-well-dressed to just relatable losers. but still, don’t turn everything into a sketchy colour blob mess though, you’re telling a story; it must be clear.
