i always liked this little tidbit of buddhist philosophy (or that is what i learned it to be). that something which has been broken is in a way more beautiful than something perfect. like it’s had a fuller life, and has more stories to tell. 😮
This is so powerful, simple but very profound in it’s basic function. Also, I require a piece of stoneware done this way in my work space purely to remind myself of that philosophy.
