Meet Akshai the Grimmun! A silent but very colourful monster. Grimmun are benevolent forest creatures who are only seen when they choose to be. They are masters of camouflage, they are the quick specks you see in the corner of your eye that are gone when you turn to look. When you first enter a forest, you should offer the Grimmun something sweet: cookies, baked goods, sugar cubes. If you do, they will watch for you and make your journey more safe and will sometimes make sure you find interesting things! When you leave, check the spot where you left the treats since these little creatures will leave you a treasure. Sometimes it’s a simple acorn or rock, sometimes it’s something the Grimmun made itself, a carved antler or wood bit.

This doll is a collaboration between me and Melita Curphy aka missmonster. Missmonster cast the face, hands and ears, I sculpted the feet, painted, customized, and put it all together.
30cm (11 inches) tall. Details are cast in resin (feet are sculpted from scratch of polymer clay) and the body is soft (no joints or skeleton armature inside), he has some plastic pellets in his belly to give him good balance and realistic weight. His necklace is made of spermwhale tooth shard carved by Shivory.ru, dyed howlite and agate beads. Arm bandages are made of recycled cotton.

This doll comes with a wooden tag signed and dated proofing that this is an original doll made (or customized) by Remjie.
