“Waves” is a small town mystery set in a retro space city. It takes place over the last three days of the school year and follows a group of teenage friends who, when two students go missing, start to uncover the secret past and troubled future of their home town. The story explores the lost ideals of the future in a dream of the past that never was. The tension between the new generation and the old, between looking forward and looking backward, is the dramatic soul of the story.
