Steven’s first dream involved him being the protagonist of a 60′s style sitcom, where each of the gems fill a stock character; Pearl being the over protective mother, Amethyst being the irresponsible sister, and Garnet being the “cool” person he looks up to. All of their roles correspond with how Steven sees them outside of the dream. The difference being that they’re human. None of them have visible gems on their bodies, and garnet has two eyes.
