So when Peridot saved Amethyst in Too Far, and then said “It was an accident!”, I at first thought she was being all tsundere about saving Amethyst, like “I-it’s not like I tried to save you or anything.” But then other people have interpreted it as Peridot being embarrassed about falling on Amethyst in such a… compromising position. This would have much more shippy implications. Now I’m not sure how to interpret Peridot’s comment. What are your thoughts?

Considering the dialogue that follows I believe it was meant to pretty clearly display Peridot’s affection/admiration/feelings towards Amethyst and her embarrassment at Steven noticing her in a somewhat compromising position on top of Amethyst.

Peridot: Ah! 

[Peridot jumps off of Amethyst quickly]

 Peridot: It was an accident, I swear!

Steven: Hey, don’t worry about it.

[Steven walks closer to Amethyst and Peridot]

Steven: We know you didn’t mean to start the drill.

Peridot: Uh… Yeah… That was an accident, too….

If that’s not shippy, I don’t know what is.
