I feel awful about making that joke, so let’s talk about this.

Connie knows something’s up.  She knows Steven, knows how much he loves her, but also how irrational he can be.  She knows he’s got some stupid idea in his head that he can’t let go of, and she knows, she knows, that he won’t be able to say this to her face.

You may feel awful for that joke, but I’m over here chuckling like an idiot.
