So I’ve seen some comments on this moment where Pearl is literally fighting Amethyst with her eyes closed as though she knows her and her every move so well, and I just remembered that in Rebecca Sugar’s ama, she says that the Crystal Gems’ fighting style is pretty much the same as their dancing style, so when Amethyst shouts, “You should know how I dance by now!” in Giant Woman, it’s at least true on Pearl’s part. She’s very familiar with how Amethyst dances on the battlefield.
