People go like “you can’t force diversity” as if the racial hegemony and absolute heterosexuality in media happened naturally and wasn’t carefully constructed and heavily forced by a white supremacist agenda and society’s obsession with hetero normativity 

I 10000% support ‘forced diversity’

I support making characters gay just for the sake of making them gay

I don’t give a shit if writers are ‘pandering’ to me or not

The ONLY thing I remotely give a fuck about is having stories that give me openly and canonically lesbian relationships in the cast as main/supporting characters and I really do not give a damn WHY or HOW that happens all I care about is GETTING IT

And if writers want me as a customer to actually spend my money on their stories and recommend them to others then that’s what I DEMAND they give me for me to do so
