Hit the Diamond. Okay? Well, you know how Steven sent all the rubies to look on neptune, right? That’s the thing: Neptune has no solid surface. The rubies will fall to their eventual death, be crushed by Neptune’s atmosphere, deal with  1,000+ mile winds, raining diamonds potentially smashing into their gems, or even being melted by neptune’s 7000 degree celcius core if they survive all of the previous hazards. 

All of this amounts to one thing:

Steven just killed an entire squad of rubies
