Femininity has always been the part of me that I struggled with. From an early age, I rejected the color pink, dresses, and barbies, because I hated the narrow box it put me into. “Girl” and nothing more. But as I’ve grown into a more educated and mature person, I’ve realized it wasn’t those things that cornered me. It was the internalized misogyny and gender roles taught by a very sexist society. // Lingerie is a traditionally very feminine piece of clothing, but as I wore it for this shoot, I still felt confident in my gender-fluid identity. (It even helped me love the more feminine features I have struggled to love for far too long). ❤️ | Shot by: Carline Benois (2/2)
