As much as I find it hilarious that the Venom fandom made a meme out of Eddie being incredibly grossed out by Riot while facing Venom with some form of exasperated acceptance despite them being from the same species, I actually think that Riot is significantly uglier/ grosser than Venom to human aesthetics?
Looking at Riot:
The colour scheme for Riot is pretty disgusting. it’s metallic grey with red & white streaks going through him… dude looks rusty, like a tin roof over a tropical shelter that’s seen more water than a submarine.
Now looking at Venom:
Baby boy. Angel. Adorable. I mean, Venom’s entire colour scheme is black and white, which contrasts really well to human aesthetics in general. Yea he’s got those white streaks in him too, but on a Vanta Black™ base? Great fashion choice. 10/10. Bonus points if he eats Anish Kapoor’s entire team of lawyers.
